Yom Kippur(im) - The Day of Atonements
This was the day when the nation of Israel was atoned. It is a reminder of God's eternal love for His chosen people, Israel. It is time of preparation of Israel to intercede for the nations of the world.
Notice that the word in Hebrew is plural, yet popular notation refers to the Holiday in the singular. The plural signifies both the two types of sacrifices made for the day and the significance of the employment of "2 Goats!"
It was on this day the High Priest atoned for himself before he interceeded for the nation
